Website privacy statement
The ACK Cohort Systems website does not use advertising trackers or website analytics at launch. It does not set cookies of its own, does not offer accounts, and does not collect information through forms.
The hosting provider may process limited technical information required to deliver, secure, and operate the website.
This website loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which may process the technical information needed to serve them.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use that information only to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence.
This statement covers the public website only. Participants in any ACK program receive separate information about how their information is handled in that program.
Veterans Academy: educational and nonclinical
Veterans Academy is an educational, nonclinical program. ACK Cohort Systems and Veterans Academy do not diagnose mental health conditions, treat post traumatic stress or trauma, provide therapy, provide crisis care, or replace professional clinical care. Participants are not required to disclose trauma.
AI disclosure
The Veterans Academy pilot includes an AI enabled participant experience that is currently being developed and validated. Participants are told at the outset that they are interacting with AI. The AI is designed to support reflection, continuity, and the development of a participant owned Personal Operating Manual. Anything the AI proposes to remember is intended to be shown to the participant, who can approve, edit, or decline it before it is retained.
The AI is not a therapist, clinician, crisis service, diagnostic tool, or medical adviser, and it is not intended to make decisions about participants.
This public website itself does not use AI features.
Organizational separation
Farid Yaghini is also the founder of Camp Aftermath, a separate registered Canadian charity supporting Veteran reintegration. Camp Aftermath and ACK Cohort Systems operate as separate organizations. Nothing on this website is published by, or on behalf of, Camp Aftermath.
Intellectual property
ACK Cohort Systems develops and licenses structured Veteran program intellectual property. The content of this website is owned by ACK Cohort Systems Inc. unless otherwise stated.
